Why this exists
There is a specific kind of person who keeps almost doing the thing. Talented, thoughtful, well-intentioned, with a list of half-started projects and a nagging sense that the life they imagined is drifting out of reach.
The usual diagnosis is discipline. It is almost never discipline. It is a mismatch between how the person is wired and the systems they were handed, plus nobody in their life reflecting back what they're actually good at.
The Superhero Institute exists to fix both halves of that.

Meet Jeff Gibbard
Jeff Gibbard ("Gih-Bird") is a speaker, strategist, and superhero who believes everyone already has extraordinary abilities, and that the choices we make decide the kind of impact we will make. Everything he does is in service of creating a world that is kinder, safer, and more equitable.
- As the founder of Super Impactful, he helps people transform the fire inside of them into the dent they want to make in the world.
- His online learning community, Superhero Institute, is a space to help people recognize the abilities they already have, build more of them, and put them to work for something bigger than themselves.
- As the co-founder of Super Productive, he takes a neuroinclusive approach to using Asana, Notion, automation, and AI, so organizations can streamline their work, reduce burnout, and remove friction for every kind of brain.
- He is the author of The Lovable Leader, a book about building better teams with trust, respect and kindness.
- He hosts two podcasts of his own called Shareable and Rogue.
- And he is a prolific writer publishing thousands of posts on the internet, since 2008.

What we believe
Everybody has a set of natural strengths, and most people cannot name theirs. Potential is common. Systems that fit the person are rare.
We also believe growth is pointless if it only ever serves you. The measure of a life well built is what it makes possible for other people.

The mission: 20 superheroes in 10 years
The goal is specific: help 20 people become genuine forces for good over the next decade. Not 20 customers and not 20 testimonials. Twenty people whose work visibly improves the lives of others, who would say this place had something to do with it.
It is a deliberately small number, because the standard is high.
